While there has been a considerable amount of research into ecotherapy and its impacts, the value of specific methods for ecotherapy has been at the center of debates in the therapeutic community. For example, supporters of human-pet therapies maintain that this method is valuable in bringing an individual into closer understanding of the natural world and the interrelation between man and animal. Critics, though, argue that humans sometimes seek out pets and humanize them, creating compliant little "people" instead of creating a relationship with nature (June McNicholas, et al. 2005; James Serpell, 2000). As a result, assessments of the existing methods for ecotherapy should be related through a view of the current literature, and should reflect both the supporters and critics of the different ecotherapy options. Severe environmental issues such as deforestation, tacitly suggest that we are losing our relationship with nature. In addition, oppressive economic conditions predispose people to be more susceptible to all sorts of distresses. Therefore, it will be argued in this paper that people must strengthen their relationship with nature and that this connection should be fully integrated as a therapeutic practice. The fundamental concept of ecotherapy and its therapeutic power states that in order for us to heal ourselves and reconnect to our inner voice, we have to reconnect to nature (Howard Clinebell, 1996).Establish the thesis statement. It is the primary thesis of this paper that people have the potential to overcome their personal distress. What is more, they can dissolve the defensive separation between spirit, mind, and body through the mutual connection between their inner values and the environment. The writer explains how that the Global North has reacted to this impending crisis with greater oppression and surveillance instead of finding friendly ways to reduce tensions. In short, between the tropic of Cancer and tropic of Capricorn, we mostly find ââ¬Å"most of the failed and semi failed states of the developing world.â⬠(Parenti, 9). Moreover, the reason for these frequent killings is that the country is experiencing severe drought and the Turkana Pastoralists are forced to stealing cattle because their animals die due to scarcity of water, so they have to take laws in their own hands, as there are no proper government rules regarding this issue. Here, the author is pointing to an important issue of how the ugly U.S. policies have given rise to everyday violence in these countries. Infectious Death Through Lack of Living in The Snows of Kilimanjaro by Ernest Hemingway The short story ââ¬Å"The Snows of Kilimanjaroâ⬠by Ernest Hemingway gives a look into the life of a man facing death in the African savannah as a result of an infection. Exotic locales and predominate dialogue are common in Hemingwayââ¬â¢s writings and are evident in ââ¬Å"The Snows of Kilimanjaroâ⬠as well. ââ¬Å"The Snows of Kilimanjaroâ⬠by Ernest Hemingway portrays the theme of death by use of specific narration, the protagonistââ¬â¢s, Harryââ¬â¢s, attitude, and symbolism. Throughout ââ¬Å"The Snows of Kilimanjaro,â⬠Hemingway uses the narration device of the flashback to provide a contrast to Harryââ¬â¢s present state and his life. The present state narration is composed mostly of dialogue and is devoid of Harryââ¬â¢s inner thoughts. The flashbacks are very similar to dreams and express Harryââ¬â¢s emotions and the way he lived life prior to his infectious state. These flashbacks are put into italics, whereas the present state of Harry is in plain type. It is at the end when this narration, writing and type style reveal Harryââ¬â¢s slipping mental state while he enters his death. The reader thinks when the plane comes and picks Harry up it is a ââ¬Å"real-lifeâ⬠situation because of the lack of italicized type, but as the reader reads on it is evident that the rescue was materialized in Harryââ¬â¢s dream world. This meshing of flashback and present-time narration towards the end of Harryââ¬â¢s life shows how he has entere d his dream world, which in fact is his life, and he accepts his death. This blending of flashbacks also shows how a life not only includes experiences, such as Harryââ¬â¢s war experience and travel expeditions, but also includes death. Hemingway provides insight into his theme of death by use narration through flashbacks. Harryââ¬â¢s attitude towards death throughout the story reveals a lot about Harryââ¬â¢s character and opens up stereotypical ways one deals with death. He is calm and quite and does not request much and still wants his wife to be comfortable. His relaxed nature in his death is partly due to the fact he has been around it all the years of his life and his curiosity has been stifled. ââ¬Å"For years [death] had obsessed him; but now it meant nothingâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ (255). His calm and quite state is also shown when he cites all he needs is a ââ¬Å"whiskey-sodaâ⬠(255). His need of alcohol in his dying state also contrasts him to... ...acted as a catalyst for Harryââ¬â¢s lost spirituality when after the war, he used them for whoring to forget about the terrible things he saw. Through Helen, Harryââ¬â¢s wife, Harryââ¬â¢s trust in women further vanishes through his artistic destruction through the wealth Helen has provided to him. This destruction of Harry caused by women, makes women death symbols, quite similar to the hyena. The last symbol Hemingway uses is Harryââ¬â¢s rotting leg itself. The rotting leg is a symbol for Harryââ¬â¢s rotting life. It is ironic that a man who has gone to war and has been trough many times of danger is dying because of a small thorn scratch he received while taking photographs in Africa. This irony and symbolism show Harryââ¬â¢s failures are literally and figuratively eating away at him. The use of symbols and their meanings portray the theme of death in ââ¬Å"The Snows of Kilimanjaroâ⬠. Ernest Hemingway focuses on the theme of death I his short story ââ¬Å"The Snows of Kilimanjaroâ⬠by using the devices of narration, attitude towards death and symbolism. With all these devices into account the reader can see Harryââ¬â¢s mental state and thoughts on death as well as what has led up to his spiritual and physical death.

Hence, it is very important that a journalist follow a code of ethics to maintain peace and harmony among the people. à à à à à I agree that even though journalists are said to have a freedom of expression or speech, they still have to have public responsibilities. In Singapore, we journalist have to watch what we say in delicate matters like September 11 attacks and the current Japanese ââ¬â China issue. The September 11 attacks may cause our society to be more weary of the Muslims in our society. As journalists, we must we careful not to generalize that all Muslims are extremists. What we can do is to ask our Muslim community on their opinion on the terroristsââ¬â¢ acts and publish it in the news. Since Singapore is a cosmopolitan city, racial and religious matters must be treated diplomatically and fairly. The other races would then be able to understand the Muslims better. Understanding each other would really help nation building as there is social cohesion and thus Singapore would be a peaceful and harmonious home for all. Honesty is another aspect which is very significant. Journalists should observe the common standards of decency and stand accountable to the public for the honesty and accuracy of their news reports. A journalist should not modify or influence any information that goes into their hands. They could do so by using suggestive words and withholding necessary information. Many a time journalists try to create a hype or to make their paper sell like hotcakes by compromising honesty. The horseback riding includes training of overall coordination, maintaining balance and responsiveness. It trains senses and a deep sensitivity. Through the senses different stimuli are taken and accumulated. The horse becomes a link between the inner world of the person and the surrounding reality. Communion of human and horse is a full chain of communicative feedback between person and the outside world, which allows a person to perceive reality more wholly.Analysis of the organization: Hippotherapy center SPIRIT was established in 2010 in Kiev, by a group of enthusiasts with the support of Children's Psychological Center. The center has eight experts: three hostlers and 5 hippotherapy specialists. It is located in the city of Kiev. The center has its own space: the manege ââ¬â 900 m? , 200 m? stable, cafe 35 m? and public spaces of 30 m?. In the property of hippotherapy cen ter SPIRIT there are ten horses. An average weekly visits of the center 50 people. The cost of training is 40 UAH.
